At the heart of Shila Group is a story of dedication, integrity, and a lifelong commitment to serving people.
Md. Mokhlasur Rahman, a respected former police officer, began his journey with a spirit of service to the nation. Guided by honesty and a sense of responsibility, he carried those values into the world of entrepreneurship—first with Shila Jewellers in 2005, where trust and quality became the foundation of his name.
In 2019, his vision expanded into a sweeter purpose—the creation of Shila Mishti Bari. With a dream to share happiness through authentic, hygienic Bengali sweets, he opened the first branch on December 9. That date now marks the growth of a beloved tradition, as two more branches followed in 2020 and 2021, each built on community trust and love.
Never one to stop dreaming, he launched Shila Hotel & Restaurant in 2024—offering a warm, homestyle space where tradition meets taste.
Today, “Shila” is more than a name. It’s a promise of authenticity. A commitment to quality. A reflection of a man who believes in leaving behind not just businesses—but a legacy of joy, care, and trust.
